    Default Accord Racers

Hello People. I'm brand new here, so I'm just sayin wattup to everybody. I own a 94 Accord EX Sedan, and a 96 Accord LX Coupe, both completely stock, for now. Pics coming soon. I autocross my sedan, and I was wondering if there are any others that race their Accords. If you're thinking street racing, don't bother replying to this post. I'm talking the intelligent type of racing on a designated track/course, with times, awards, etc. Hit me up and let me know.

That kinda sucks. Are there no other tracks out there? Have you heard of the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA)? They have a Hawaii Region on your island, they even say they're having an autocross event this weekend. Check them out at www.sccahawaii.org.

I really have a thing against street racing, since a co-worker of mine died on Valentine's Day this year while out with his girlfriend, minding his own business. It's OK to go a little over the speed limit every once in a while, but hitting 100+ on public streets is ridiculous.

well welcome to the forum. I agree with you when it comes to racing. Ive had many friends total cars doing it...and total one of my own just screwing around. But, theres nothing you can do about it. people are ignorant. They dont learn until it happens to them. So theres really no reason in bringing the subject up anymore.
Turning up a system to a level that has audible distortion is more damaging to your ears than listening to an undistorted system at the same volume level. The threshold of pain is always an indicator that the sound level is too loud and may permanently damage your hearing. Please use common sense when choosing a muffler.

So is that it? No more racers? That's cool, you're still Accord owners, so you're not completely lame. Just kidding. I have an autocross this weekend, so I'll try to get some pics and video. You guys wouldn't happen to know someone who would sponsor my Accord and my Mustang for the 2008 season, would you?

Dude, are you serious? If you're from the NY, there are plenty of opportunities to at least test the limits of your car as well as yourself. Go to http://scca.com/divisions.aspx?div=ne and see if there is a track nearby. Let me know what you find.
