what engine do you have? F22A1, A4, or A6? you have a few options. If you have the A1 or A4, you can install some parts from the A6 to get it up to the A6 power (140HP), which will help. You could also turbo/supercharge the car (going to cost a few grand), nitrous oxide it (not recommended by most of us here), or just do a flat out engine swap. The engines of choice these days are the H22 and H23- weighing in between 160 and 220HP depending on what particular flavor you get. What kind of horse are you looking to gain? if it is a significant amount, I'd go with the engine swap or turbocharger. With turbo (and a built engine) you should be able to push 250HP... potentially up to about 400HP if you rebuild the engine good enough. With an engine swap, you will right off the bat get a good boost in power (H22 is generally 2500-2700 shipped), and you'll still be able to turbocharge it later. There is a guy (don't remember where) that got his H22 to crank just a tad over 600HP, which is pretty incredible (obviously it's going to take a lot of money to get it up that high, but its just to show you the potential is there if you are willing to go with it)
