Well the day has finally come, I got a job, and a damn good one at that. Working at Circuit City for $9.25/hr and about 40 hours a week. So either this paycheck, or the next, I want to lower my car about an inch and a half. So what am I going to need to have my car be lowered without having to worry about a part that went out cause I didn't buy it when I got this all done. I just want to lower my car and not have a part go out on me cause it needed to be changed when I lowered my car. Thanks a lot peoples! :D

get the springs or coil-overs you want, a strut that is capable of handling the drop, (tokico's or kyb's are good)

also when it is all installed its a good time to update you cuspension bushings to urethane

and now would be a good time to check your cv joints and the rubber boots, check for any cracks or signs of the axle grease leaking, replace broken or cracked boots, cause once your car is lowered your axles will be under more stress and this will prevent major problems later on

after you drop it, have the suspension alligned. you'll probably need a front camber kit. you can use the bolt type, you won't need the whole arm. in the rear you'll probably need to use some washers, you won't need a kit.

Your going to need about $900 bucks for a good suspension.
I would say about $1100 just for unexpected problems.

About $300 for a good coilover kit.
About $300 for a set of shocks to compliment the stiff spring rate.
About $200 for a camber kit.
Maybe $150 installed if you know someone.
About $60 bucks for alignment.

These are my standards of course.
If im going to buy a suspension, its got to be the best.
None of those $49.99 coilovers will do!

maybe a little less for springs ($230ish)
maybe a little more for shocks ($350-400)
depending on how much you lower it, camber kit could cost as little as $120
i got my springs put on for free because i went in and helped the guy ;)
my alignment was $120, but that included rear camber adjustment without a kit

again, this is using top quality stuff, you've got options, but whatever you do, get good quality stuff.
