I want to get an intake for my 1996 Accord LX, and I was wondering what the difference between Cold Air Intake and Short Ram intake were. Also, which one is better? Thanks. :D

Cold Air is always better. If you have the money get the AEM V2 Cold Air intake. IF not but still want a cold air get the AEM Cold Air intake. and if that is still too much get AEM Short Ram intake... but i have the AEM short ram but getting the V2 in the summer so i have to.. one for summer and one for winter.. i dont need cold air during the winter also i dont want to cut the V2 to install a by pass.. good luck... :p :p :p :p

Hmm. thanks for the recommendations. Was looking into the AEM intakes earlier. I was talking to my friend right now and he said that the bad part about the Cold Air intakes is that you can't drive during the rain cause I guess water can get in it or something. So should I just buy a Cold Air Intake for the Spring-Fall season, and a short Ram when it begins to get cold and chance for rain? Thanks 5peedCoupe :D

well it is true that rain can get in and that is bad, but AEM makes an air bypass valve that u install on ur intake that eliminates the chance of taking in water. And they say the only way to take in water is to submerge the end of the intake in water. Just driving in rain won't do it. I installed an air bypass valve on my CAI and never had any problems. So good luck.

yeah and when you go to the track, or when theres no rain for days, yank it off and throw another one of those rubber canvas things inplace of it.
