everyone who have modified there honda engine. i would like to ask you a question. Is it better to buy the expensive name brand parts or to buy a generic performance for pay half the price? i would like to here your response.

depends on what you are planning on doing.

if you just want to have basic bolt-ons, and stick with that, then by name brand.

if you want i/h/e but plan on gettin turbo or swap, buy generic.

turbo- nothing but the best custom kit.

i got a generic cai off ebay it looks just like some of the name brands. the only difference really is the filter. i didnt trust the one i got, so i got a k&n. the total came out to about 100 dollars for both. much cheaper than a name brand but it still works the same

Name brand is everything.. They use only the best materials. The bends of the piping are tested for the least amount of turbulance. They use better filters. They mount / fit much better and more secured.

i think you cant go wrong with a generic intake..just switch the filter and you'll be fine..

id go wit generic right now if ur strapped for cash, if you want to then you can just buy stickers and put them on the no name parts and you'll be set.
