if you want to keep the stock harness, splice into the wires. If you dont care, you can chop them off. as long as you have a good connection, sound quality shouldnt be effected....and idk if you know this but you dont have to solder the lines. use crimped butt connectors and them wrap it with electrical tape. works just as good as soldering.

and also i was alittle confused by that speaker harness it has the 2 speaker wire and then theres that 3rd wire, whats that about? is that going to ground or something? and do i need it? and is is hard to remove the stock honda stereo am fm tape deck i might install my cd player if i feel like it today i might have to go get a stereo dash kit for the accord

the 3 wire i dont know, you only need the 1+ and 1-.
and the fm tape deck. its probly easy to remove it. only need the right tools for it. and to conect, its mostly plug and play.
^ i dont execly know what tools you need b/c i had a cd player in it when i boght it.

im going to try to just wire it without that harness i think its giving me bad sound but i put it because of that 3rd wire i didnt want to mess with it.. the stereo i have to rewire to install its only plug n play if its the same stereo harness. its not too hard
