01 lude cd player to 94 accord??

my friend just gave meeh his 2001 prelude cd player.. i want to hook it up to my 94 accord EX.. the harness is differ.. can anyone help meeh.. or should i just go by a alpine 9815CDA?? but i wanna try the lude cd player first if it is a easy way to do it... idunno THx

even though the harnesses are different you should be able to figure out which wires go where. you'll have a power, ground, antenna. the antenna is obvious, it's huge. the power it prob. red, ground- black. then all of the output wires to the speakers. if the color codes are different the easiest way might be to look at your friends prelude, and look behind the speakers at the wire color. it should be fairly simple, like blue - left, green - right, red - front, yellow - rear, and a combination of those colors.

hmmmmm...... i noe which wire is wat on my accord harness but behind the lude cdplayer doesnt have a harness . i need something to plug it into the lude cdplayer.. cuz i dont noe what each one of the pins are on the back of the cd player so... thx anyways.. any other ideas???

theres a shop here called ultimate electronics where you just tell them what type of head unit you have and what type of car you want to put it in. and they can get you any harness for them. try to get a electronics store you hook you up. all you need is a pair of strippers and krippers and your set.
