the only surface i had trouble with was the vents. but for every thing else all you have to do is wash the surfaces to get anything off, then apply light coats like very light coats, dont worry about covering the whole surface let some black show thru, then let it dry for like 15-20 minutes and apply another light coat, keep doing this until it is completely painted. then let the paint dry and apply clear coat. its very important to apply light coats of paint that way you dont get runs. i recommend like 2 or 3 coats of clear coat just to make sure you get it all. i used Dupli-color auto spray. its supposed to be for the outside of cars but i used it anyways and it worked. you can buy it at any autoparts store like autozone or advanced auto parts

i'll just start at the console.
2 screws by the seat belt mount
2 screws under the bottom of the center console
pull out the cup holders. 3 screws under there
the center console will pull up and out.
this exposes 2 screw, there is one behind the ash tray, its way back there.
the rest of the piece is held on by clips, it pulls straight out.
there should be a few screws right in the front holding the head unit in.
there is a support that sits behind where the ash tray would be, this, along with a mess of wires holds in the head unit tray.
