ok i am having an issue with my trany when ever I rev up the engine up to red line and shift from 2 to 3 it grinds a little. It only does it if I try to do a quick shift, if I do a normal one it will not do it. what could this be I have a friend that knows lots about hondas and he tell me I have to change the trany oil and it will stop. is this true or is it that my syncronicer mess up.

most likely the sync. mine was doin that and i changed the oil and it didnt help. i added this product called Xado to my tranny and it helped alot. the product basically finds friction points and seals them. mine only grinds when i go to 5th gear now, unless i finesse it. if you havent changed the oil in a long time, it might be a good idea. put some 10w30 or 40 synthetic oil in there.
