I have just recently swapped a vtec into my 97 accord lx. I now have to purchase a new ecu to wire up the solenoid. Does anyone know which ecu's will be compatible and would it be better to purchase a new wiring harness also?

HASport has a VTEC wiring kit that runs from the engine bay plug to on the pass. side to the ECU. Then you would need to take the wiring from an EX harness for the engine side. Basically take off the knock sensor plug, vtec solindoid plug and all the wire to the hasport plug.

If you have a 94-95 Accord engine .. you need to get an obd2 -> obd1 ecu conversion harness. Then you need to plug in a 94-95 Accord SOHC VTEC ECU.
