how low looks good on the 96 accord with 17s
should i go 2.5/2.3 or 1.7/1.5

it really depends on what you need the car to do. i have my daily driver dropped 1.7 and with some of the weather we get here it sucks. also, PA roads are notoriously terrible. some speed bumps also scrape. i think any lower and it would be undrivable, at least around here.

Well ur location says soon to be California so go as low as u want
Depends on what tyres you're running too. When I had my 17s on 215/45 rubber. the front came down 2.5" and I couldn't fit 2 fingers between the guard and the tyre. I also had Koni Yellows so the ride was still quite good.
