Did this the other day. Not hard at all.
Tools require:
ratchet(or something to undo bolts)
An oven(or heat gun)
Knife/screwdriver
Flat black paint
lots of tape and newspaper
Silicone
I did this on my 4th gen, so it may be a little different for 5th gens+. First remove front bumper. Undo the 5 bolts that hold the headlight it. Undo the bulbs. Place headlight in oven @ 350f until you are able to seperate the glass from the housing. To seperate it, use a knife or screwdriver. Now, tape off everything you don't want painted on the housing(everything but the middle reflectors). Spray paint on until satisfied. I used silicone to seal the headlights back together because I used yellow paint on the high beams and it wouldn't withstand the heat of the oven.
On a scale of 1-10 for difficulty
Difficulty rating: 3
