ok so i got all the parts ready for my head swap and i looked at the distribuiter and the one on my car has a wire going from the ignition coil to the cap and on the new motor it doesnt, can i use the same distribuiter and ignition coil or what can i do? how about the 93 prelude si (H23) what does that have?

it probably wont work with mix-matched coils, if it even fits that is. sounds like u need a new distributer cap. when i replaced mine for the first time, i couldnt figure out which cap was right, i returned like 3 caps cuz they were wrong. it turned out i needed an Integra GS distributer cap, which is internal coil. maybe that will work for you. the thing that made it frustrating was that the mounting holes on the cap didnt always match up the holes on the motor. what i did at the end was i asked the guy at the parts store if i could "try it on" before i bought it, to ensure i had the right one.

you got tw options here: I have the f22b swap myself and u can either install a jumper wire on the harness that plugs into the stock coil between the black/yel and yellow wires, Or you can swap to an external coil which is a better setup anyhow. I am having some high rpm sputter issues and am gonna swap to the external coil dizzy and see if it solves them......
