was just wondering if a lower strut support bar replaces the sway bar or is it a seperate component? if anyone has any pictures of their strut supports (front or rear, top and/or bottom) that'd be cool too.

strut and sway bars are 2 different things. with a strut bar, you are pretty much trying to get rid of any flex in the chassis by bolting the strut towers together. front, rear, upper, and lower all do the same thing, just in different places. sway bars are meant to flex some, and i think they have more of an effect on the ride quality.
i have upper front and rears on my car, i'll take pics tomorrow if you want. you should be able to find pics of them pretty easily. installation is a breeze too.

yea they are kinda two diff things.. like he said two diff location.. i have rear lower and upper strut bars.. i beleive they helped.. the back doesnt swing around when i make sharp turns anymore.. the car feels more tighter.. less flex but still i need the front strut bar.. and trying to get some ST sway bars... then i drop it!!!! heeh

cool thanks, i was assuming they were different. where do the lower strut bars attach? ive seen a pic of the uppers but never the lowers. i think my cars springs are about shot so im looking into different suspension components.

if u look under ur car in the rear.. rite behind the muffler, there is a bolt where one side of the strut bar connects... u can see where the lower control arms at.. it connects the lower control arms on both sides.. i have DC Sports Lower and Upper strut bars but i wish were the spare tire goes didnt make the trunk so low.. cuz i can see it that well if ur in a car from behind..
