I did that too, I grinded it off completly, and it still goes all the way up and hit the tower, but I know I can just cut a hole out in the top of the tower so the control arms can stick out, but I wanna leave that choice for last. So I was just trying to find out if theres anything else I can do.

Wow. What kind of struts do you have?? They may be too soft and just allowing too much travel.

I have sportlines too with tokico gas struts and have never had a problem.

Did you have to cut or bang out under the fender

Nope. Nothing like that. They just went in and I lowered it back down and voila! It was done.

No problems after that.

So, the fender line at the rear comes down to the top of the tire, maybe a 1/2" over it, and at the front, it's about an inch above the tires.

How low is yours?? must be slammed.

It isnt really slammed, but it is kinda low, I just put the eibach sportline springs in, and thats all, no other mods, to make it lower, so we have the same springs. but you can stick just about two fingers in between the wheel and the fender, at the front

Oh, and do you get alot of tire wear. because if you do that means your car isn't alligned correct.

Negative. No tire wear, but I should get re-aligned anyways. Its been a while.

So, you are using those springs with stock struts? wow dude. I bet it is quite bouncy riding down the road? -like your avatars b00bs. ;) nice btw.

You are getting control arm strikes when it bounces, right? You need some beefy struts man. The stock ones are too soft for the hard spring rate of the sportlines. -Change to a better strut, and your problem should clear up.

I have Tokico Gas Struts all the way around. It's not bouncy at all.

I originally wanted to buy KYB struts too, but the guy asked what type of springs I had, and I told him sportlines.. He then proceeded to tell me that the KYB's couldn't properly keep up with the spring rate of the sportlines, and it would be bouncy. So, I went with the Tokico's.

It's nice.

thanks. I was just checking. I have 2.25" drop on both with sprint springs but im afraid the drop will decrease my strut life...???
