i drive a stock boring 95 accord LX and i want to drop an H22 in for some power...did i mention my lx is an auto? well i know i could convert the tranny to a manual with the H22 but how much more would it cost?

for the whole swap, engine/tranny + swap =4-5k

my local shop did a write up, using used parts, and it would cost more to convert, than to go buy one thats already a stick... so im just ganna put a prelude trans in it.

thanks guys u were really helpful. one more thing, after the swap i wanna do some upgrades like a new exhaust but im not gonna have much cash....whats a good cheap exhaust and what brand of cold air? i was thinkin AEM but i heard good things about somethin called Anzoil? fill me in

ive never heard of anzoil, and ya cant go wrong with aem or ingen!

thx vasponger, u got any good suggestions for exhaust? good dyno results? i heard pacesetter was cheap and had good gains

i dont know really about exhaust, i like mine, and hopefully ill be getting a dyno done thurs but its a mustang dyno so the numbers are going to be whack

Go AEM intake and maybe a Tanabe exhaust. Both brands are proven to be the most bang for your buck on a Honda.

aem sucks dont go that route. for injen it be aem on the dyno tests that tpr did. but if you wanna go cheap just go with some generic brands they are all made from the same manufacturer. as for headers dc would be good.

nah AEM doesn't suck, they do constant testing on their products to ensure the most hp gains for every particular car possible with their products.......

ah hell just go to your local parts store ( cuase you know they sell apc stuff there) an pick yourself up one of those nifty new 3R racing echaust tips, an you can even get one that lights up on the end if you hurry.... sorry i seen some guy have that shit on his accord last night an it made me wanna vomit... thought i would throw that one out there...hheheheh
