Recently the light in my glovebox has been turning on without the glovebox being opened. I can only tell because I can see the crack of light along the top of the glovebox. I locked the glovebox, and it still does it. The only way it turns off is if you smack it really hard, but that's probably not the best idea.

I'm worried I'll come out one morning and my battery will be dead!! Has this happened to anyone else and what did you do about it?

Mine does it too. It only comes on when you turn on the parking lights / head lights. You shouldn't have A problem with it killing your battery.

this seems to be a problem with every accord showing light thru the crack in the glovebox, so you got 3 options 1. live with it (like i do) 2. take out your bulb or 3. try to fix it ex. tigheten screws try to make touch together correctly

yup, mine does it too and i blamed it on my long legged friend, that bastard would always get in my cars n knock the hell outta my glove box........sooo still to this day he always apologizes and offers me things (beers, smokes, food) for forgiviness haa which i have forgiven the kat like a billiion times. yeaaah but i say either tighten it or live with it, aint no point in taking outt he bulb b/c some night when you get pulled over, if you keep your registration there a light might come in handy

just my .02

oh an yeah, it only comes on when your parking/headlights are on.

Good ideas for sure... I'll probably try and fix it and let you all know how I did it... or if I did it.

Mostly because I want a project that doesn't cost anything!

Yeah, mine does the samething. I keep telling myself that I am going to tighten up the clasp, but when the free time comes around I forget about it. But thanks for bringing it up, I'll fix mine tonight for sure.
