Well, my 96 is gone, a guy pulled out in front of me, being that i have excellent driving skills (hehe)

i swearved to miss him, which I DID, BUT i ended up going UP & OVER...

airbags popped out shattered my windshield, fucked my my rims...HERES THE KICKER

BENT THE FRAME, AND PUSHED THE MOTOR OVER, BOUT 2 INCHES, AND THE AXLE IS BROKEN...this car has survived 7 accidents with me, and this 1 finally killed it, NON of the accidents are my FAULT believe it or NOT:)

so NOW, im on the look for a 94-99 accord....

ARE ne of the 96 PARTS interchangeable with the the 99

reason i ask is i may have already found 1, 99 silver coupe, 5 speed, v-tec, and if so i want to RIP off all ym stuff...

TEIN-S springs, KYB adjustables, powerslot rotors...

i have all the old stock shit:) to replace it with

Well, first of all, my condolences for your loss. I know exactly how you feel as I just went thru the same thing 6 months ago, and not my fault as I keep telling everyone down here, lol. The 98-up aren't swappable as far as parts are concerned. If you can find a 94-97 accord then all you have to do is install your parts, but if you get the 99 accord then I guess take off your aftermarket 96 accord parts and just sell them or something and use the money to buy 99 accord parts. Its like starting all-over again. I left my progress suspension on my totalled car because someone told me that if the axle and frame is bent then the spring could still be compressed which can be dangerous while trying to take off. :idunno:

Yeah, its sucks. Just depressed thinking about it. But some advice for you: Take your time when searching for a car. Look at least 5 cars and take at least 2 weeks to search for one. I spent one month looking for one, test-drove a couple accords and acura cls, but kind of regret not taking an extra 2 weeks, because someone just added an 1999 CL v6 in the classifieds, which only had 50k miles on it, which was the #1 car I wanted. If I were you, I would wait on another 5th gen accord so you don't have to deal with all those parts lying around. If it has high mileage, you also have an option of swapping in another less mileage later on. See what you can get with your Insurance for your reimbursement check, then go from there that way you'll know exactly what kind of cash you can throw around for an extra motor, tranny, etc...The 98-02 coupes are nice like the one you've found and 5spd which is a bonus. If its clean and has lower than 80k miles than that's pretty decent. How much are they asking? Hopefully less than 12,000. I could have got a 2000v6 coupe w/ 53k miles for 10,000 and it looked in very good condition.
