Well, after about an hour of troubleshooting, I found my fuel pump to be faulty. Let me just post what was happening to my car in case it happens to anyone else's. It was weird at the beggining. I would be driven and let say I stopped at the local 7-eleven to get a microwaveable burrito. Then I would go to turn my car on and it just wouldn't start. The engine would crank over, but nothing would happen. I would just have to let it sit for about 3-7 minutes before it would start up again. After a few checks, the fuel pump was found to be the culprit. I'm going to purchase a high flow fuel pump but I was just curious if there are really any benefits to having one instead of OEM. Does anyone have any feedback? Would upgrading the fuel rail, regulator, etc. improve anything? Well, whatever the case, that 13yr old F22 pump was depriving my precious H22 of fuel.............

damn i think i may be having the same problem, like did u car consistently not start up or only occassionally, because mine happens on occassion like maybe once a month or two. thanks for the info, i heard that replacin the fuel rail with say an aem rail is beneficial when u also replace the fuel pump and uprade your injectors so that all the fuel flow can be supported also try upgrading the fuel pressure regulator along with this. i'm looking to do the same upgrade i'm just saving up for all the parts i wanna do it all in one shot. lemme know how it works out.

Well, it would happen occasionally at first. BUt it wasnt until about a week ago that it began happening more frequent. One time, and it was embarassing, i tried to shift into first really quick at stoplight and I stalled. So, the car wouldn't start up for like 5 minutes. Everyone was passing me up and honking and stuff. And I couldn't do anything but wait. ANyhow, back to problem, I'm going to order the fuel pump within the next couple days. I'll post up again once I install it. Let you know how it feels. As far as buying all the other upgrades I don't know. I was, or still am, trying to find out if there are of any benefits ugrading all that stuff. My car is still stock besides some headers, so MORE fuel might be too much. Thanks for replying ........laters.

all those components have shown an inprovement no my accord, but now my exhaust shots soot, i think i may just need to adjust the regulator. i got the fuel rail, regulator, injectors, high-flow pump and filter, but i also have a v2 intake, so you should definitely have an intake before uping the fuel, i got a lot of my stuff from tasauto.com

dude sounds like that's not the fuel pump. i had the same problem too. i ask one of my buddy (who happends to be a mechanic that specializees in honda) the same question and because i thought it was the fuel pump too. he said that it's the "fuel pump main relay". he also said that i could get it from honda dealership for about $75-$80. when i got it, i installed it and the porblem went away.
