The h22, the f20, the h22 type s?? I have no clue!! Which is the better bang for the buck and which has more potential?? I heard the f20 was manufactured in Japan for 90-93 I dunno how true that is. It had 200hp@7200. The h22 202@6800rpm, and the Type S 223@6500. From what i've heard they all have the same compression ratio 11.0:1. What do you guys think is the best deal? I am not sure about the torque rating on the f20 but I know that one the h22 its something like 161 and 163 on the type S. Which engine do you guys think has the most potential? Everybody at the shop says h22. But I want your guys opinions on it. I am planning on a swap as soon as my f22b1 takes a shit but it's still running strong. I am just planning for the future. One more thing what do you guys think of these LED taillights? I've never seen em b4? Don

h22 is the easiest and cheapest to swap.

The JDM F20B V-tec is from a 90-93 Accord Sir with 190 hp and torque is pretty close the prelude H22 motor. The Prelude motor is easier to drop in. If your really looking to swap motor get OBD 1 Not 2 because it is harder to mess with.

what do you mean led taillights? the bulbs that are just a bunch of leds? they are kinda cool, nothin special. they should last a lot longer than any bulb, and they are brighter.

the f20 has a little less torque, as expected from a smaller motor. the h22 type s has 40 more horse, from higher compression (from the h22), and also has a stronger valvetrain. this can all be upgraded on an h22 fairly easily. the other big difference is that the type s was offered with a limited slip diff. this will get both wheels going pretty good, but i don't know if it's worth the extra $1000 you'd pay for the type s. and i believe that the type s was only offered once honda switched to obd2, so you'd need to either drown in wires, or get a conversion harness to obd1
