I might buy new pistons to boost my compression from 9.7 to about 11, maybe 11.5...is this safe for my stock engine?

i don't know too much about the newer engines, but it kinda seems like a bad idea to run that kind of compression on stock internals. some people think that they will try it, and just replace something if it breaks, but again, it sounds like a bad idea.
personally, i would just rebuild your entire valvetrain, and while your at it the rods too.

yo....i read somewhere the compression ratio for a f22b1 or an EX motor is 7.8:1....thats REALLY LOW..i dont know if thats right or not but that would mean theres a lot of room and potential to move it up some. I been thinkin about doin that but dont have the money for it yet.
