i was wondering if u guys could help me out. My friend has a 95 Accord EX Auto Tranny. when he is driving and slows down to go around a corner or something and goes to accelerate again the engine will rev to like 4500rpms before it starts to accelerate again. Is his tranny going bad or is this normal. I was thinking maybe it shifts down into first gear and that is y it revs so high but i dunno please help.

Sounds like the clutch be worned out, but I have no idea about automatics...

Yeah, I also think it's just downshifting. Because I have a 96 Accord Automatic and if I go around a corner and press the gas again, it'll go to high RPM's depending on how hard I'm pressing on the accelerator. ;)

it could be that you have lossed a considerable amount of torque for some mods you've done(if any). Mine used to do that when i only had a intake and exhaust. until i added my headers, hi-flo cat, and tornado. My car corners and then accelerates with ease now.
