If you haven't bought the springs/struts already, then I would get the coilover set. Much better ride.

yea, tha tech guy said people get alignment problems cuz kids are buying $40-70 coilovers...but he asured that if you get good ones, tien preferably, there won't be alignment problems. what do you think?

Well for the alignment, its not just the suspension, but also brakes, steering, and road conditions that can affect it. Those $40-70 coilovers are just hi-lo coilovers which don't do anything but lower your car, not true performers when it comes to handling and ride quality. I pretty much learned through my experiences w/ the 3 different types of setups: springs/struts, hi/lo coilovers and my present omnipower full coilovers, and thru this forum, that you get what you pay for in the world of suspension. Suspension should never be taking half-assed. Go for quality and be willing to spend the extra money, because it will be all worth it in the end. Tein SS, D2, INEX, Tanabe, and Omnipower Coilovers are
all quality suspensions. What you also need is a camber kit to adjust your alignment also, since you're modifying the suspension, if you haven't already known that. Good luck with this project, as this will be one of the most important mods you will do.

I dunno. I heard bad things about them. One of my friend's had them on his 95 accord and was frustrated with them. Yeah, and I remember Colt saying they were crap stuff, like Lisa said. What kind of suspension are you looking for?

well i want performance and a drop...i'm thinkin coilovers...tha basic damper kit from TEIN...or there S-tech lowering springs...but leaning more toward tha coilovers cuz this site gots tha basic damper for 690.00...and maybe tha guy that can order can get it for that price...i'll juss ask if he beats prices or something...what do you think?

I'd go with Omnis for the price and performance but since you're new to this I think they would be too much for you in terms of handling and I dont think you would like the ride. They're more for handling than comfort.

I'd recommend Tein Basic Damper, seems pretty good and very comfortable I hear.

hey Muyo what were you sayin a while back about airbag suspension? they told me you can put an air compressor in tha trunk...i heard they ride smooth...do those improve handling and performance too? thanks.

i say it's not worth the extra weight you should go with either coil-overs or one hell of a spring/shock/strut setup
perferably the coil-overs

the air bag is just like any hi-lo coilover. No performance, although it helps getting over obstacles. I would say stick to the Tein Basic Dampers, since the Omnipowers have a higher spring rate, maybe a little much for some. A decent coilover will be the only one you will ever need unlike springs/struts where you will have to replace the struts every time its blows out. I had to replace the tokico blues struts on my other accord and align after them like 3 times before I finally gave up. That's why Ive been praising my Omnipowers so much. :cowboy:

so which full coil-over setup has the most comfortable ride? i currently have coilover sleaves, so im guessing anything would be better than what i have now.

alright, we shall see. id rather have more comfort than performance. i mean, im pretty impressed by what i can do with just my coilover sleaves, in terms of performance and taking crazy turns. so those teins, even if they arent as good and stiff performance-wise as say omnis, they still gotta handle better than my shitty sleaves. since ive only experienced sleaves, ill be none the wiser, heh heh..
