D4 in odometer is blinking, gas pedal is stiff...

just got my car back after gettin a new tranny installed....the D4 keeps blinkin even though im in gear, and its hard to press down on the gas....anyone know? thanks

My D4 has been blinking for the past year. It's most likely a tranny problem. I'm too lazy to get it checked out and I havent had any real problems yet. My pedal isnt stiff. You might need to just loosen the throttle cable?
