I need your guys' honest opinion. I have a 1996 Accord LX f22b2 Automatic. I was wondering, which way is cheaper? Is it cheaper to keepy my Accord and get an H22 engine swap and purchase all the upgrades (headers, intakes, etc.) and all the body work and paintjob? Or Is it cheaper to just sell my Accord and buy a used newer car like a Prelude, Eclipse, or Civic and fix that car up?

The only reason why I'm not sure is because the Preludes have the H22 already and I won't have to go through all that trouble to get the swap. The Eclipse's have a DOHC engine as well, and so do the Civics.

OR, another option is to just tune my f22b2 engine as much as I can.

What do you all think?

whats up man, i have a 98 accord 3.0L, i know there are alot faster rides out there. however, for the price i dont think you can beat it. it performes better than almost any car i have driven or any of my friends have driven...id seriously think about the swap before you go and spend all the money.

if you find a Prelude with low miles get that, other than that just tune your Accord and put a h22 in it.
