yea i look at the drag turbos they dont make it for the 90-93 model accords... so does anyone know if a turbo that fits the 94-97 2.2 will fit the 90-93 2.2

thats cool, I'd never seen pricetags on F22-capable turbos; not as pricey as I was expecting.

yeah but most of the time you can get a h22 swapped for that price

thats true, but a few of the turbochargers work on the H22 AND the F22 so once you get done with your F22 you can put it onto your H22 too :)

hmmmmm might have to look into that then, the manifold would be differnt against the block but what about the outlet side

did anybody here know that you can use the a 1st or 2nd gen turbo eclipse's exhaust manifold on our motors. Yea thats correct folks, apparently all u need is a drill bit to enlarge the bolt holes. But then i learned somewhere that u also have to take out the front motor mount. I'm not sure if they meant permanently or just to put the manifold on. I'm gonna go to the junkyard within the next month or 2 and try doing the swap to 2 lucky cars in the yard. I'm saying all this because i'm getting a custom turbo setup now and i still need the exhaust manifold

thats awesome... 1st and 2nd gen eclipse... what years are those?

If the exhaust manifold fits... does that mean that (potentially) you could take the entire turbo system off of one of those and port it over to our cars?

My girl said the years are 1st gen 90-94 and 2nd gen 95-99 as far as the 1st and 2nd gen eclipses go. I do believe u could but i haven't gotten under her gst yet to see how the downpipe is constructed...cause it could be blocked by our oil pan ya never know but i have read that the manifold will fit so if thats tru then the manifold and turbo will fit...a downpipe can be made at a muffler shop somewhere but they'd probably crush-bend it.

awesome. You got a girl that knows cars? hold on to her they are rare. Has anybody got a 90-99 eclipse AND a 4th gen accord to try some stuff on? :)

Oh shit! Goin TURBO! I think there's a few other things that need to be done to the eclipse manifold to work, but yes I have seen it done. About the mount, I belive you need to weld a custom front mount or you need to custom weld the turbo manifold to fit. Either way I remember there being more to it than just re-sizing bolt holes and calling it a day. Let us know what you find out. Good luck with the turbo project.

i'm gonna make my own thread about my " turbo adventure" when i get it on the 9th or 10th of this month, should i post everything i know about turboing...well i'll have to in order to document everything. Change in plans i found a place in NC that custom makes turbo exhaust manifolds made of stainless steel, its gonna be a mandrel bet snail design for $150. So i won't need the dsm manifold anymore and can keep my motor mount.
