Personally I like the look of the Pspec shifter better than forbidden. The whole package (shifter, boot, knob) costs about $215 shipped, but I think it would be worth it because some of the FM shifters I've seen look like they're in 5th gear when they're in neutral. Pspec just looks like it's engineered a little better, IMHO.

Well, I got my FM shifter on Saturday in the mail. Took me about an hour to install. I must say I really do like the feel of the shifter. Incredibly great quality (mine is black, not bronze). I used the factory shift boot and removed that chrome shift knob adapter. And I topped it off with a Type-R shift knob. Here's some pix:

Personally, I'm gonna have to agree with 95EXCooope on this one here. I looked @ the FM shifter and although it works fine I'm sure, I definetly like the finish on the ole' PSPEC.

hmm... heres the predicament, andrews shift doesnt look like its in 5th to me (and it also looks like sex), and its a bit cheaper... but my motto has always been you pay for what you get. so maybe i need to see if the pspec one REALLY is worth teh munneys. does anyone have one?

Alright, check this page I made; it should answer all questions about the PSpec shifter with pictures of it in neutral, 5th gear, all that shit. Hope it works and helps you decide.

on the contrary, it would be a very good idea to switch to a manual. wise beyond your years you would be. you kant beat power on tap.
