Im having these guys at a place called eurojap do my exhaust. Just wondering if there was any downside to going from duel tips to a single tip like the 4 cylinder. I'm not tryin to be cheap, and I'm not tryin to pose as a 4, I just don't want to have these 2 loud abnoxious mufflers... don't get me wrong, I do like the sound, just not 2 of them.
Please input your opinion...

Can you take a couple pics of your undercarriage? I'll probably end up sticking to the idea of getting the dual Magnaflow setup for my '99, but out of curiosity I'd like to see your setup.

That reminds me, (not to jack the thread) but I put in those red n clear taillights last week. They look hella clean to go along with the black housing headlights.

Well, I ran 3" all the way back, it cost me $280 including everything, and yes its magnaflow... I found that $400 for the dual mufflers was just not worth it (my hard earned money, I am only 16) and it's unnecessary. Also, with the single, I have more money left over for headers. The guy that did my exhaust was not going to let me do dual tips without installing resonators. I was like wtf. PLUS, I've had atleast 5 guys think mine was a 4cyl... But anyways, I'll get that pic for you asap. Prolly not until the weekend.

Rican, here you go man. One thing you should know. My single is loud, about 125dB, I dont know if you should do dual, popo's will be all over you.

Your under carriage looks clean. At first I thought that 3" would be too big, but then I remembered you have a V6, so it would probably balance out. Yeah the whole decibel thing kinda worries me, especially being that I'm in Cali, and they are really cracking down here in Sacramento.

actually dual exhuast arent louder than single..it all depends on piping and muffler..and since ccordpower didnt have a resonator, that would explain the 125db ..i custom dual exhaust and its quieter than most cars w/ exhaust out there ..i think u mite seen my car b4, ricanstylz...was awhile ago, so i dont remember hehe
anyway g'luck w/ turboing ur v6..u'll be 1 of the few ..3" mite be 2 much for n/a tho even if its v6

i was thinkin about doing the same thing..iono why but the dual exhaust on my v6 don't look to good in my mind. PLUS the added fact of surprising the shit outta my friends when they see the single exhaust with no V6 badge but they are punished by the v6-vtec POWA!!!!
