I'll sell you my "catalytic converter" for $30 including shipping...it's really just a glass pack, but it adds about 5hp over stock - it's used, but perfect condition - I had to take it off, because my new headers were jacked up, so it didn't line up...and the guys at meineke are freaking retarded! They are so good at welding stuff, but complete morons when it comes to bolt-on stuff! I spent $120 there trying to get them to fix their stupid mistakes...and got pissed off, jacked up the car at home and fix it in 45 minutes FOR FREE! Man...I hate meineke. Anyway - $30 for the hi-flow catalytic converter that's really just a resonator - e-mail me if you're interested..... xlscurrilitylx@AOL.com

Why don't u just get straight-thru piping? Ur losing a lot of power, by going that route. wit a hi-flo cat converter. I had one on, and u may get a few hp, but it doesn't sound that good tho'. It felt like it was missing something.

As soon as you start messing with your cat, you won't pass emmisions tests anymore...

The problem with most high perf. cats is the fact that there is no hole for the factory O2 sensor, and that's bad, mkaaaay?

If the car is all race, then go for it!! NO CAT! Straight pipe, yes.

BUT if it's for everyday road use, then you don't wanna only be able to use the car until the next inspection right? Keep the cat. It doesn't restrict that bad.. Not nearly as much as the stock exhaust.

Theoretically, for a race car, you want to be able to hold a lit match at the tailpipe and blow it out through the intake!! lol
