Got Rims need shocks/springs

Just got my 18s put on and I have a 3in gap or so. Need shocks and springs ASAP lol. What do you guys recommend for a cheap system to lower the car 1.5 - 1.7 inches settled in? Not looking too much into adjustable since those are more expensive, but just good sturdy shocks that'll last me a long time wit very good springs.

I'm more of a coilover guy. I like variety, and coilovers give me the option of adjusting my ride height whenever I want. I have GC coilovers and I love them. Can get them for a decent price on Ebay for a little over $300 I think. As far as shocks, I would either get Koni Yellow's or Tokico Illuminas. They both are very good and will last for a long time. There is no such thing as a cheap suspension if your looking for longevity(spellcheck). In the world of suspension...you get what you pay for.
