i was wondering if anyone has ever had to change the front motor mount on there car yet... i am having to do this, an it is a pain in the ass to get to the bolts that hold the mount inplace.. i wanna know what you did to access them easyer .. im trying to get them out from the top of the car instead of having it lifted all the way... i have the tranny supported so that it will not fall but i can not get the dam bolt that goes thrue the mount itself lose.. is there a trick to this or do i have to get under the car.. help please ....

no not that i know of.. im going to give it a shot tommorow morning an see if i can do it then... im taking it to my freinds shop an using his lift so that i can do it alot easyer, plus i will have all the tools i need there an parts if i mess anything up... the only thing that i can think of is that when i lowered it back down off the jack, maybe the throttle stuck or somehting.. i did not think to check it yet.. but i dunno.. i hope that i did not mess the timming or anything..

Not sure if you changed the front mount yet, but you need a strong ass breaker bar or you need a strong torque gun to break them free. If you're only changing the one front mount then you don't need to worry about propping the tranny up or anything like that. The motor mount bolts are just stuborn but there's no special trick to getting them out.
As for the idle, I'll send you the testing procedures soon......

coo thanks pat... i have since done the following to the car since i posted this thread...
changed the fuel filter
front motor mount
alternater/mount
belts
an cleaned te hell out of the throttle body (internaly)...
new pvc valve
an new spark plugs (ngk) an wires...
but for some reason it is still doing randome surges though.. it is reving while in park between 1000 up too 2300 rpms... as if i were being reved automaticly..it is very anoying.. a when i start the cr up in the morning, it is like it is not wanting to run at all....
it runs forabout 30 seconds, drops idle down to about 500 rpms, an then just dies..what the hell is goin on.. nobody seems to know.. the bestanser ive gotten so far from anyone is that there might be water in the engine... what else could t be making this do ths...

If it were a lot of water, then your car wouldn't start at all. If there were a small amount of water in your engine, it would be burned out after the motor warmed up and ran at normal operating temperatures so I can almost guarantee that's not it.
This is what it could possibly be:
1. Water in your gas tank or other fuel issue
2. Idle adjuster screw needs adjustment
3. Idle Air Control (IAC) valve acting up
4. fault in the Fuel Injector circuit
5. Fast Idle Valve acting up
6. Lock-up Control Solenoid issue
7. Coolant Temp. Sensor shorting to ground
8. EGR system clogged or not working right
9. Oil pressure switch intermitently reading out of range
10. A/T position sensor faulty
11. Or possibly a problem with the ELD (electric load detector)
Those are things that it could possibly be....so looking at that list, have you messed with anything listed there?
My guess just based on what you've told me is that you have issue #6 Lock-up Control Solenoid. It's RIGHT AROUND where the front mount is so the plug may have gotten messed with when the mount was changed or the solenoid might have gotten banged up and now it's acting up.
The next 4 things to look at are the next most likely culprits for what you're describing. #1 water in the gas tank, #2 Idle adjuster screw, #3 IAC valve, and #7 coolant temp. sensor. Check all of these and get back to me. The rest of them COULD cause the problems you're having but more than likely not. Also, just for good measure, inspect all the vacuum lines for deterioration, cracks, and for any unplugged hoses.
If you need instructions on how to test anything let me know.

MAN DAMN! I finally found someone that has the same problem as I do!! You should check my other post "My Accords' extremely odd runability issues... "
This helps though, it really narrows down the list of things that will help.. I know now that the new fuel filter won't do it. :s
I am getting this problem too, but this is after I replaced the Head, Intake Manifold, Throttle Body, and Cam Shaft. That's alot of work! It's only natural to have problems like this after something like that. But it has been this way for months!!! It's finally getting really bad, and I have a laundry list of things to check too. :s
GodSpeed to both of us! lol

Make sure you put a jack under the engine & take some weight off the mount before trying to loosen it.
