I have ordered a carbon fiber hood. Im curious to know what installing hoodpins involves.

doesnt that make it easier to steal? since you dont need to be inside the car to open the hood.

Naw it doesn't make it harder to steal cuz you still have the hood latch. So you still have to pop it from the inside as well or at least thats how a few of my buddies have it. Its mainly for looks you don't really need it unless of course you travel at constent high speeds and want to make sure it stays down. But other than that its really just for looks.
