what exactly does the torque converter do? where could an after market one be purchased? also where can i find some acura type s camshafts. i have a 00 so does that mean i can just have them installed right after i get them, as oppossed to having them machined like the 98-99 accords? where can i get some mugen t-stat and fan switch?

im no mechanic so im not exactly sure how a TC works, but i do know it converts torque(lol). U can get the camshafts outta any CL-s. As for the rest of the ?'s...good luck to ya

Dont bother getting a torque converter for 6th gen Transmission, it isnt going to do shit. As for the rest of the questions I cant throughly answer them well. I read about them before but I forgot what it said.
Check out V6performance.net, they have anwsers for that, they can be assholes on there though...
