Somebody did this on here I think. Talk to nitrousoxsys, I think he was the one. Its been a while, so I may not be too accurate on that.

Im am in the process of changing my whole interior from tan to blue/black. Basically I already did all the trim panels of the interior and all I have left is the big stuff, (i.e. carpet, headliner, dash, and racing seats) but everything else is done and waiting for that other stuff to go in. I used Duplicolor Vinyl and Trim paint for the trim panels and Im just gonna buy a new carpet, headliner and seats.

PS: Dont knock it till u try it with the paint. It actually works. I also coated it in 3 coats of clear. Hope that helps

i dyed all my interior vinyls and sprayed the plastics....came out damn nice....my sig has pics of the process and such....i think the 3rd page....i used VHT vinyl penatrating dye....works AWESOME....still has no fading or changes since i did it about 2 years ago.....painting the plastic is more of a pain however because i havent been able to find anything that really sticks perfectly....occasioanlly when i do notice a chip...i just touch it up w/ a black paint marker....you cant notice anything

the only stuff i didnt mess w/ was the headliner, leather and carpet....which will all be staying the same until i rewrap and just buy new carpet....there are carpet kits for like 120-150 out there for our cars...i think the company is 1AA auto

wow that one looks real nice! When u spray the door panels, it tends to make them shiny so it actually looks like leather. Just a suggestion if u dont want to spend that much money on re-opultstering your interior.

i guess that must all depend on what product you use...the vht stuff i used just changed the color....no changes in shine....the door panels that were flat brown are now flat black...the dash that was shiny brown is now shiny black....if you use paint....which wont hold up...im sure it will be shiny

It definitely holds up. a couple days after I painted them, i tryed to scratch them with my key and it does nothing.

paint works on plastics....not on vinyls....wait for a temp change or heat....it cracks to hell...iv seen tons of ppl try it....never ever holds up...something flexible must be dyed
