I don't know your concept bout "JDM", but for me JDM means real imported right hand drive Japanese car. Or at least U have USDM car with "real" JDM original parts or JDM aftermarket. And it will cost sooo expensive. :D
Some JDM aftermarket brands
-Apexi
-Mugen
-Spoon Sports
-Greddy/Trust
-HKS
-TEIN
-ZEAL
-Tanabe
-Nismo (for Nissan)
-RalliArt (Mitsubishi)
-5Zigen
-Endless
-PIAA
-etc
Some USDM aftermarket parts:
-AEM
-DC Sports
-Skunk2
-Nitrous Oxide Systems (NOS)
-Jackson Racing
-JG Edelbrock
-MSD Ignition
-Crane Cams
-etc
Some European aftermarket parts:
-Eibach
-H&R
-Bilstein
-Brabus
-Hamann
-AC Schnitzer
-Avant Garde
-Lorinser
-AMG
-Momo
-etc
so U can see what I mean, the featured del-sol from that site, for me it's not a JDM car. A lot of USDM aftermarket parts inside. Those description above only my opinion though... peaceeeeeee........ :D

sites ok. cars look nice. For my opinion on JDM, see this link http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/439134/3. Some of it is true, some of it is false, and what takezo said is true too.
This brings up how everyone who had a 240sx befor they were the new big thing went and started to say they have a silvia, when in fact no matter how hard they try and how much money they have, there 240, will still be a 240. You can not get silvias here in the US less you import one. Now on the other hand saying that you drive an s13 or 14 would be correct to say(as that is the chassis code), but its intresting how youll see people who in the past, would say I drive a 240, but now they say its a s13. nothing wrong with that though.
Then for a while I was thinking about getting a right hand drive car, but heres some problems. First you have to deal with getting the car. With lots of effort you can get a car in, but its not easy at all, and it also seems like no one wants to share how they snuck there car in or whatever. Im not here to debate that. Anyhow, the next thing you gotta think about is this, if your going to drive that car around alot, say on freeways, your gonna have to adapt to having a huge ass blind spot on the left that your probally not used to, so left lane changes will suck for a while, then toll boths, unless you go through backwards or have someone in the car with you all the time. You also cant get fast food in drivethroughs with out having a passenger. Then unless you get a RHD car that is common here in the US, think about how much a new windsheild would be if you happend to have a slip up. I dont think you can call up the Auto Glass Specialists and have them bring you a windsheild to a skyline (though I have never asked, so maybe you can).
On the other hand. You have a true pure blood JDM car. Your car wont be a mutt. Youll also have everybody giving you props except all the muscle car guys who are single minded and wont even give you respect if you were to beat them in a race. Then youd get more girls cause the sex appeal is way up, like fiddy thousand and a half fold. But in the end, you still cant have my teins.

" JDM Bomz Exhaust system, "
Bomz is based out of california!
where are the real jdm features on the del sol? where are the jdm door handle map lights? where is the licence plate filler? where are the rear fog lamps?
those parts are easy to find... damn.... sad
all their pictures were of other cars.. none of theirs!
