What is the normal rev limit on a MT 93 accord on my grandmas 2000 accord which is AT its like 5200rpm which is realy low but i like driving her car anyway

On my 92 accord the rev limit is like 6500 to 7200 somewhere in that range

Why are you going to rev your engine up to the red line. When you don't even make any more power up there. Even though you can rev your car up to the red line doesn't mean that you make any more power. The engine has it limits. You should only rev your engine up to its max Horsepower. It might save your engine from screamming to death. Because reving your engine any higher than it should be will hurt it.

yah, but if you have vtec and can safely redline @ say 7500 rpm when you shift to the next gear, vtec should still be activated, which is quite a substantial difference then dropping below vtec and then waiting for it to climb back up....just food for thought...

but our cars dont have vtech so i would say shift at about 6... my opinion on best shifts...

90-93 US Accords never came v-tec!!! Only the F20B engine in the Honda Accord Sir JDM only came v-tec. With 190 hp. US never saw the V-tec accord until 94 in the EX - SE models only.

does da tranny matters bout da rev limit? cuz i got a manual 90 accord lx and i put a 90 accord ex automatic ecu on mine. does da rev limit for da auto lower dan my manual? and any1 kno wats da speed limiter on da ex auto ecu? aites thanks
