What to look out for?

I'm thinking about buying a 2001 Accord LX 4 cylinder, what should I look out for as far as these engines go? It's a 5 speed, with only 30k on it, and they only want 200 over blue book.

There is no problems with the engines, only automatic transmission every now and then for some people. And since you are getting a 5 speed there is pretty much nothing else to look out for.

Thanks, that's what I needed to hear. My car that I'm replacing (93 Plymouth Laser RS N/T) was such a headache. I was always losing sleep worrying what was going to break on it next. It finally jumped timing and bent valves, so I'm getting another Honda it looks like. The last one I had was a '93 CRX Si...loved it. How easy are these to mod for engine performance, etc?

They respond ok to normal boltons, but if you want real power go turbo.
