save $2k and get an h22 - more power, and it uses the same mounts as well....and the f20b only had 149hp the last time I checked....but I could be wrong. But more power to ya- $2k is hard as poo to save especially if your car isn't "done"...then you find crap you wanna buy and you're like ..."it's only $20, I'll make it back this week." I dunno - I wish you some good luck, because I've tried, and it's hard.

the f20b is more like 190hp, plus the tranny is better than the h22 for 1/4mile at least. put i/h/e on both engines and race the f20b will win. ive been in it and its fast and pulls hard as hell

ah, ok - my mistake...I'm just recently getting into the whole motor thing...I've learned a lot of USDM engine codes, but I haven't gotten into the JDM motors, yet.
what's the torque on an f20b? and how much do they cost? I was saving for an h22, but if you recommend the f20b, then I'm kinda interested. Does it use the same mounts and everything? Is the tranny a direct bolt on to my frame? If you don't mind, could you give me some place to get information from? I would appreciate it!

tq's about the same as h22, about 160. they cost a lil more than a h22 but less than hss type s, comes with a short sir tranny, be careful a few shops know how to swap it the wiring is the hardest thing in the world, id check with shops first, i wouldnt recomend the f20b to everyone its just something ive wanted to do since ive found out about it, since no ones really tried it that ive found.

My friend had a 96 cord with the f20b. The only thing he messed up on was when he ordered the motor he got the automatic one not the manuel, so he lost some hp through that. So make sure you order the right motor.
I swear I found a site that had accord front clips yesterday for about 2500, I gotta find that. Though it wasnt a normal front clip where you have the headlights fenders and bumpers, they said all that was stripped down, but it would seem it would come with less broken stuff. Usually you cant get those things less you have a fork lift. DUnno though, my body shop I work at can get clips. Damn tow trucks just dump them off and say here you go have fun.
Yaeh saving money is hard. Try saving money being in college away from home home so Im not working, going to china in March, then getting a car in the spring.. somehow Im still not bork, its only been 2 weeks into college though so who knows how Ill fare, I suppose if I get an easy job I wont spend what I got saved.

Can you make a JDM F20B V-tec smog legal for a 91 honda Accord auto?
