just wondering, but is it possible to supercharge an F22A6 engine? id rather have a supercharger than turbo because if i swap a 5th gen. accord head i get v-tec, and turbo interferes with v-tec because they both activate at around the same engine speed. besides im a big fan of torque, acceleration, and low end power. i like to get most of my power at the beginning of a race and besides, they dont last that long for a big huge turbo to come in handy. around how much might it cost to fit on to my engine? and how much boost could run with little modifications in the beginning? i figure it would be m,aybe a little bit more because its on the belts.

okay, first of all if you like low end torque then your really SOL. Honda engines are NOT designed for it, thats something you get from a domestic V6/8.
Anyways, I believe there are some superchargers available for the 5th generation (F22B1/2) but its really not recommended to supercharge our engines just because you don't get as much power out of the engine when all said and done.
Anyways, you CAN get a supercharger that you could adapt to your engine, it'd be for a 5th gen. I really don't recommend swapping a F22B1 head onto your F22A6, it'll only give you like 10HP, something that you could easily achieve with a turbocharger.
As far a PSI you can use on our engines stock, I have heard 6-7PSI boost is fine with no detriment to our engine totally unbuilt but I think you need to run 89 octane or so to keep it from pinging.
