How many of you have painted your front/rear lip? I want to try the plastic fusion paint thats out. Im not too worried about the white matching since its not a focal point like the side skirts. What you guys think?

I had the stock lips painted to match the car and I just received my Mugen lips and sides so they'll get a prof. spraying as well. Since you have a White car it might not contrast but I'd just take the extra step.

Beware!!!!!!!!! if you've every put plastic shinner (armorall)on it, the fuzion will have a hard time sticking to it. my buddy had to clean his super good with alcohol to suck the oils out of it. then he wet sanded it then sprayed it. it looks pretty good. the shinner keeps the paint from blending to the plastic. good luck and let me know how it goes.

Well, so far everyone keeps saying I need to use Adhesion promoter and I dont know how Fusion paint will stick to that since its made to bond to plastic. I may just go get the color matched and buy it in a can.

buy it color matched....get dupli color only!! the plastikote shit doesnt match!...it may sound dumb...but there are many different shades and you WILL see a difference...
many coats of duplicolor after a couple coats of primer then a bunch of coats of clear
but....it will never matchup to having in professionally sprayed...but thats a bit more money

Do you mean matched to the accord color code? Or does Duplicolor sell something close?

duplicolor sells a color just about exactly the same....its in the little book at autozone or whatever that sllls duplicolors...its a book that tells which can of paint to buy to match you cars stock exterior color....i beleive for white accords the color is frost white...im rpetty sure....but you can look it up

.so they actually have yr-505m cashmere silver metallic in a can?? i need to paint my side and rear lip...
.or if i get a ww rear lip ('94) then sides and rear painted, front lip black...:)

Thanx for the info Cramer...on my way to autozone i go! Actually I gotta put my sidemarkers on then mess with the front/rear lips.
