I think my 93 accord is burning oil cause every month or so i have to add a little bit. Is this okay as long as i dont let it get too low ? or is there something major wrong that i need to fix right away ? i mean the car does have 161,000 miles on it.

does it have oil on the block in excess or under it when you park it? :hmm:

It is not right for your car to lose oil. You should check around the engine bay for leaks especially around the valve cover. Sometimes it leaks over the engine and doesn't make it underneath the car.

first does it smoke at all? next replace the pcv valve because if it is bad it will make your car use oil. also take the timing belt cover off and if there is oil in there your cam shaft seal is leaking.

I already put a new cam seal in because it did pop out one time and i put a new balance shaft seal in too so i doubt its that

one theing it could be is the oil cooler o ring. that will leak a lot. and then get the valve cover gasket set with the spark plug tube seals. that is what i had to do last weekend because my car was doing the exact same thing. it cost around $30 for the gasket set and the o-ring for the oil cooler, but first make sure you have an oil cooler.

and dont let it get in your cylinders cuz you cant compress oil it will try to compress and blow your conecting rods and thats when your fucked and may need a new engine cuz the rod can punch a hole in the block

eh, mine is puffing black and grey smokes. Sometimes its ok and sometimes it smokes for a while and then stops. Is it normal?? I mean, my car loses a lot of oil. I think its from the burning. But then again i don't know what it is. I thought getting a new head would solve it so i upgraded to an f22a4 Vtec. But i guess its not the head but my block. Is it my pistons?? (help???)
