This was a crazy morning for me, on the way to work I raced not one, not two, not three, but 4 cars:
1) 2005 Maxima 3.5 se
2) 2004 Land Rover
2) 2001 Ford Expedition
4) Volvo S40 NA

1) SO i'm standing on the light behind the max, it was all tinted out, bone stock. Green light hits, he peels off and takes out. I'm like what was that?! So i catch up a little and on the next light i get next to him. Green Goes I do a 4k launch and we stay neck to neck till about end 2nd gear. I hit 3rd, so does he, and WHAMMMM he missed a shift. LOLOLOL I fly by him and win before i reach 70mph BY GOOD 2 CARS! I flash the lights the race over and take my ramp onto the highway

2) I pull onto a ramp and i see a new Land Rover swirving in and out of traffic. And I remebered that their highest model is like only 220hp, So gun it and get on his ass. Well just as I expected, he guns it too and we play a little cat and mouse, cept I was the tiger and as soon as second lane cleared next to him I passed him with a nasty smirk at 105 and kept balling. His face expression was priceless as u could see him trying to punch a hole thru his floor pushing his gas pedal. So I lost him in a mirror and called it a day.

3) I take my exit and pull up to the red light. ITs a 3 lane street with left lane ending in about 100 ft. In first lane, there was a volvo S40, in the second lane there was an Expedition. So Expedition driver notices me crawling up on the left and being a jack ass he is he floors it on green without letting me thru. SO I gun it, chirp second and effotlessly pass the huge SUV and get in front.

4) Looking at what just happened Volvo S40 that was on the Expeditions other side thought... Hmmm he thinks he fast like that and floors it. Being a not turbo S4, he couldnt catch up to me and finally let off at about 80. Then minutes later I stopped on the next light, next lane next to me is clear. But S40 pussied out and pulled up behind. I'm like thats right bitch.... if u cant keep up, dont step up. So green goes and he wanted to trick me into that he is not racing but flooring it as soon as I hit 2nd or 3rd IDn what he was planning but I watched his every move and as soon as I saw him floor it and start merging on my right to pass me I downshifted to 2nd and gunned it like there is no tomm. And BUAAHAHAHA, needles to say, he didnt even get to see my quarterpanel. All he saw was my fat ass tailpipe spitting out 93 octane.

haha, burn them bitches. I caught a race with a newer celica GT last night. I was at a red on a 2 lane highway around midnight. Me right lane, some van in the left lane, and the celica behind the van. I had seen him trying to weave and get near me for a while, cause i had kept peelin out of red's. so i dont punch it off the line this time but i give him room to merge right, then out to the left of me. So he pulls up next to me, we're crusin at like 60. I didnt even have time to look at him before he punched it, so i put the hammer down. No contest really, since he didnt give me any sign of racing i had a slower reaction, but i caught him and had him by 95. I kept pullin for a lil, but didnt wanna risk a ticket or anything.

Celica GT- 1.8L DOHC 140Hp 125TQ
Accord EX- 2.2L SOHC VTEC 145HP 147TQ (stock)

i have the V2 intake, but i don't really know what that added to my numbers... :hmm:

V2 intakes are the shit... probably the best intake on the market. Good job on the Celica!

I have a regular cold air and a few more bolt ons, inluding Zex 55 shot, but I didnt spray on any of them, nope I swear I didnt LOL

what?!

I gotta question about the v2. I have a aem sri on my car, now say if i buy the v2, will that give me better gains then a cai, even tho for 5th gens the v2 is like a sri??

CAI is always better, I heard short ram is dyno proven to cost horsepower rather than gain

lets not say that, sri is for torque and not hp, Big bore and short intake is for torque and long narrow intake is for horsepower like a cai, thats why new cars have variable intake tracs like VW

true. the bigger piping brings more air in resulting in more torque. Smaller piping brings less in resulting in more velocity of the air coming in which is horsepower.

Torque-amount of air coming in

Horsepower-velocity of the air coming in

=AEM v2's/Iceman Cold-air design is a perfect example of both.
