Toyota 4runner vs. Lamborghini

so... my friend was driving us home from the movies, we were in a 4runner lol n we were just kickin back when we got to a stoplight, then outta no where, this lady and her husband (I'm assuming) in their mid-40s pull up in 04 Lamborghini Gallardo. It was hella funny, my friend was revvin.. then at green he floored it and we were beatin it by about .. 5 car lengths.. then like 5 seconds later, I guess they realized that we were actually tryin to race them, so she floored it and u can hear that loud ass 10 cylinder lamborghini engine roar right past us.. oh man, we kept laughin bout that night for awhile, damn I shoulda took some pics.

awesome, i love hearing fast cars go fast, sometimes i get lucky and am next to a ferrari on the freeway, i just roll down my windows and listen to that baby purr.

I seen a NSX and Ford Lightning racing in front of me one time as i was coming off-ramp to the freeway, boy was the NSX fast-it was souped up with turbo. Heard the BOV go off as i entered the freeway. I was trying to keep it w/ the Lightning tho' but he had a good 5 car lengths on me and just gave up. NSX disappeared probably half-way to the moon or something.

My favorite match up was when my dad finaly let me drive the Porsche Solo. Coming off the on ramp onto I-25 south to denver and getting up to speed in a 03 911 C4S and a 00 C4 Turbo is next to me when i get on the interstate....... you can imagine what happend next, late night in the open country with 0 people on the newly paved inersate, radar detector and jammer instaled i dropped it into 3rd and floord it, caught the other guy on his little bit of lag so we were staying close, made 4th then 5th and he was about 3 cars infron pushing around 130 and then got to 155 went to 6th and at that time i could see just his tail lights kept up around 180 mph until i caught up with him then dropped back down to 80 and then went to fill up and so did he. He was suprised because he thought mine was a turbo because it is a C4S which has the turbo body and a higher output engine. I think he was more suprised to see me step out... 22year old university student step out of a silver porsche.... Big ass grin on his face too. hehe... dont tell my dad!

I remeber the day when i was driving to the shop to get my tranny swapped, I was driving next to dodge viper SRT or some T whatever.... So I glance over at him, drop to neutral, REV the hell out my tranny and drop to D3 ( i was on the way to do the 5 speed swap LOL) I take off and get about 4 cars on him, thinking ohh shit.... ama tell everyone i know... Then I hear this loud ass VROOM as he flew by me. All it took was a downshift for him :-( It was just funny! I dont think even a twin turbo H22a would beat that on top end like that. 10 or 12 cyls aint no joke!

180 on a newly paved horizon to horizon empty strech of highway wasnt dangerous to anyone but myself. Where as i might go fast of do some crazy things i never will put another persons life indanger with my driving style or driving techniqes, i use them only in large areas that are open and not hazadous to anyone but me, just thought i should let all of those worried soccer moms breath a bit easier.

I dont think even a twin turbo H22a would beat that on top end like that. 10 or 12 cyls aint no joke!
all you gotta do is be faster than 11-12 seconds to a quarter mile. and thats no prob for a lotta suped up cars, the thing where the vipers just own all is in the higher end speeds up above 130, cuz the engines so huge thats where it'll smoke you any time any day, the acceleration part is no so hard to do, but overall if you try to keep up past 130ish, your going to get smokethd
