What kind of mechanic are you? A dealership mech. or a privatly owned shop mechanic.

Dealership mechanics are the guys who do things by the books step by step and call tech support if they cant get the job done...

Private part mechanics are the guys who look left then right and make sure the owner of the car isnt watching when you jump on the wrench trying to bust the motha fTTKing axle nut loose...

If your inbetween your just a lost sole.
Im a lost sole that has sole. That means I like fried chicken.

haha, been there done that. What I really hate is when a 10min job somehow turns into a 2 hour one. Example: I changed my sway bar endlinks. One of them already had a stripped nut so I had to use a dremel with what seemed like the flimsiest cut off wheel ever to cut the bastard off. I went through about 25 of them untill I just sat there with pliers bending the washers bach and forth to get the bolt out. 2 hours later I got the it off and then the the other side took me like 2 min beause nothing was wrong with it.

Wrenching is awesome.

I work for a flat rate shop where real mechanics work. No hourly bullsh*t. No time to sit around and think of how shit needs to be done cause if you waste time then you aint makin a lot of money. And if you rush a job and you f*ck it up and it comes back, you aint gettin paid to fix it twice. You need to know yer sh*t to work in my shop.

Personally i prefer private mechanix, they get the job done, and a judge is more likely to rule in your favor incase of any "mishaps".

dont go to dealerships. when we first got my car thats where we took it and it seemed every time we took it there something else went wrong so we kept going back. so we switched to our local place, parker imports and nothing ever goes wrong after we take it there. plus their friendly :D
