SO yeah, this sucks, I just found out unless I can figure out how to cut up the hood of my future car, I wont be able to use my EDFC for my tein SS. Even after I purchase the pillow mounts, there still will not be enough room. TEIN told me they are redesigning the shock mount shaft so that there will be room, but untill then Im out of luck. I got a gheto fiber hood Ill experiment with , but still, this sucks a whole fricken lot. So if your planning to buy tein SS soon, I suggest you dont, that is if you want the option of adding an EDFC soon. I know this goes against me saying buy my teins, but Im just looking out for everyone else. I swear I get screwed over with every deal in regards to cars... O well Ill make some stuff work out.

The EDFC dosnt fit , well the controller itself does, that goes somewhere driver accesable, but the motors that fit ontop of the shocks that do all the adjusting hit the hood. There isnt enough clearence. If I remember right, you need about 2.5-3.5" of clearence from the top of the shock tower. Actually, now that I think of it, they will fit with my old CF hood plus I could cut that whore up.

Also, tein told me that the motors tend to spin by them selves on top of the shock towers, though they also said they dont always do that.

Dangit. I have a 97 that i was contemplating getting Teins for cause when they were down in ATL i saw them and they told me how bad ass they are. But as well the guy told me they didnt make any for the Accord i guess that changed. Lieing bastards, anyways i still love the shocks and i wanna get them. Did they tell you about how long they plan on taking with this new "idea" to give you room?

no they didnt say when they expect them to be released... People in the ATL told you TEIN dosnt make applications for the accord? WTF? dirty liars. They make the superstreet, one thats called the comfort series, the Basic, Stech springs and now some new comfort spring. I cant believe they lied to you about teins. Makes me so mad. Yeah if you plan on getting the EDFC inthe future (which really is more of something you dont need but is one of those things to say you have it cause its so cool).
o, your friends in the ATL didnt lie about teins being awesome. Right when I got mine installed, I went for a little test run to make sure I didnt mess up anything on the install, and wow, the ride, it was amazing.
