01 accord problems.... help

Hey guys i dont usually post up here since i have a 5th gen accord but ive got a problem with my dads 01 ex. He kinda let go carrying about it and i drove it last nite and wow.... it needs whole buncha shit done. And i wanna tune it up for him he needs new fuel filter, wheel bearings, rotors, dist and cap wires and new wires. Its time for the timing belt coming up so the water pump gonna be changed as well. So my question to you on 01 ex's the front rotors are not pressed on like they are on 97's? Also, how hard it to replace the fuel filter on that mofo cuz i know it was a bitch and a half to replace on mine. The rest i think i can handle. SO yeah, any help would be appreciated. THanks.

No shit the 01 has problems. I'm on my 3rd tranny (5spd) and its in the shop now b/c the motor has lower end knocking. Possible h22 swap, what the warranty co. won't know won't hurt 'em. I was going to change my fuel filter until autozone told me they had to order it b/c its part of the entire in-tank fuel system. I would guess that one is a payne in the ass. All the other problems you mentioned sound about right though. Good luck w/it.
