Im thinking about having my rims redone in a darker tint rather than actually painting them. Anyone familiar with metal stains? I have white rims on there now and If I get some clear coat/gloss remover on them ill be set. Im thinking they may turn out grey. Anyone ever seen gray rims like GREY not gunmetal.

havnet seen a gray gray, thatd be cool if done right. i'm not sure how a metal stain would work, it might be better to go with a paint but idk.

I am gonna try and get a hold of this dude that has a place called "wheel works" right near where I live. I know he repairs rims, I wonder if he paints them. I been thinking about doing my konig imagines in a gun metal color and leaving the silver lip for awhile now.

get them powder coated...last longer and is alot stronger...onyl thing is...youll never get it over if you ever want it off...

Yeah ive thought about that as well. Long term durability is a factor in all this.
