I just installed some eibach sportline springs in my 96 accord, And since then everytime I ride over even a small bump in the road, It makes a clunk sound in the rear, I do know that most the the upper coils touch, because they are really close, but does any one know if theres anyway I do some modifications to get rid of the noise. I dont know if I can rap the springs with some type of material, or put something in between them. If anyone have any Ideas Please let me know. I would really really appreciated it.

well its likely that the springs arent seated properly....might hav to be taken apart and re-seated...or....could be that they didnt install rubber strips between the spring and shock assembly....which would take away that noise...either way probly has to come back apart

i had the sportlines on for a week or so and they did the same thing. i tried wrapping the coils with some soft plastic tube, but it didn't help. i had the shop put on neuspeeds instead. they still do it sometimes, but not as much. also, new shocks would help. the stock shocks aren't really strong enough to rebound that much.

my car used to make that noise when i had my trunk stripped, but when i put the spare tire and jack back in there, and a cd changer all the noise stopped, and my car seemed to ride better
