i just bought an h22a(w/LSD for $2,425 shipped). i was wondering what good stuff i could get to make my car go faster w/$2300 to spend on the motor? i have a ct-26(supra turbo) but i don't want to put it on right now. i also don't want to go NO2. i'm planning to buy skunk2's stage 2 camshaft to. do i need new valves, springs and retainers with the camshaft? rember i might want to go turbo in about a 1 1/2 year too. so i don't want to buy stuff that's going to raise my compression ratio to much. thanks.

yes you will want to get the new valves and retainers and springs..... if you are going to boost save ur money because you have to do some work to the block. you have to have it re sleeved and rods would be good too... of course pistons.

make sure skunk2 cam isnt aggressive if your gonna go turbo. If your gonna do turbo, I wouldn't worry about intake, headers, cam. I would do ignition, cam gears, head work, throttle body, intake manifold, exhaust, suspension, and if your a manual, a good clutch/flywheel combo

if you're going turbo look into a type s cams. a little higher lift and longer duration. as long as you keep the boost under 7 psi you should be fine on a stock block. but eventually you will either need to rebuild that motor because it eventually will fry the piston rings OR you will get boost hungry and want to squeeze more power out of it. and good choice on the LSD trans, they have the shortest gears of all H22 transmissions.

i have the same engine and lsd trans and had the same plans. for the head work i recomend skunk2 valve train for the cams skunk2 makes special turbo cams. the block can take 8psi safely but you can change pistions without resleeving mahul goldseries pistions require no sleeving
