I was taking my girl out to the restaraunt and ended up racing some shmuck in the 01 explorer. Here is how it all happened:
I pull up to a red light, see this pimped out explorer with 22", HID, bass hitting... I turn my DJ tiesto up to the max.... woofers are hitting and I cant hear his eminim or 50 cents whatever he played anymore. So got his attention. So I'm crawling slowly closer and closer to white line green hits He takes off like a bat outta hell. I'm like ohhh ok i c how it is.... 4x4 a little wet so he got 2 cars from the start cuz i had one hell of a wheel spin. So 20-30 i shift to second tires start peeling again I'm like damn.... no grip at all and I'm right by him end of 2nd gear coming up and Wham I missed 3rd! I'm like shit!!!! grind gears, hit the clutch, ram it in the 3rd again and wham didnt go in the second time I'm like shit! he is about one and 1/2 car ahead. So I just jam it in the 3rd time and got it in, drop the clutch and start catching up hella fast. Dude almost thought he won but hell no I fly by him at about 70 and kept on balling till he was good 6-7 cars behind. I hit brakes and we stop on the next red light. He rolls next to me and says Daaaaaamn! Your car is hella fast! You spinned whole 1st and 2nd! Then slowed down gave me another car lengh and smoked me by 6 after. What you got done to your ride man? I'm like naah man...I didnt slow down, I missed 3rd TWICE! He was like its a stick too!!! WOW! He was like what you run like 12's? I'm like no.... i barely squeeze high 15's he is like: Cant be.... My truck runs 15's I was like LOL yeah man! whatever... and drove off!
